Almost complete mechanical design for GWR Collett Goods.
Just needs to hook up to a tender for water & gas – ready for first test.
The first 60 of these locos recycled the tenders from redundant double framed 4-4-0s –
this is the tender type I will be supplying with this loco as this covers most of the GWR period.
The last 60 locos were built from 1940 with the 3000 gallon Collet tender which was almost unique
to the this loco type. I am not proposing to produce a model of the latter tender.
